Each character has unique Gear, Gadgets, and Traits to choose that best suit certain playstyles.

D-Wolf (Kai Silva)
- Position

- Motorized Exoskeleton: Activates the wrist-mounted mechanism to overload the exoskeleton’s power, giving increased Movement Speed and RoF temporarily. Knocking down enemies recovers HP and Stamina while extending the overload duration.

- Triple Blaster: A hand triple grenade launcher that is fired by pulling the trigger with the index finger. Its anti-tank grenades can attach to vehicles.

- Tactical Smoke Grenade: Short-duration smoke grenade used for breaching. With reduced charge amount, it can be used more flexibly than a traditional one to obstruct vision temporarily.

Vyron (Wang Yaheo)

- Tactical Gear – QLL32 Crouching Tiger
- Fires a compressed air shell with Thumper to knock down all enemies within its area of effect.
- Gadget – Dynamic Propulsion
- Activates the portable dynamic auxiliary device to advance in the designated direction. Knocking down an enemy reduces the cooldown.
- Gadget – Magnetic Bomb
- Throws a magnetic bomb that can attach to walls and vehicles until it explodes when the timer runs out.
- Trait – Dynamic Auxiliary System
- When falling from a height, the dynamic auxiliary system kicks into overdrive, minimizing fall damage while boosting the speed. The use of Gear and Gadgets also increases the speed.
Luna (Luna Kim)

- Tactical Gear – Detection Arrow
- Fires a Recon Arrow with a bow. While flying, its arrowhead consumes power to probe the surroundings and mark exposed enemies.
- Gadget – Volt Arrow
- Fires a Volt Arrow with a bow. Its arrowhead generates electric currents to deal damage over time.
- Gadget – Enhanced Frag Grenade
- Defensive grenade that does AOE damage with shrapnel.
- Trait – Enemy Analysis
- Luna’s damage marks enemies hit for a short duration.
Hackclaw (Mai Xiaowen)
- Unlock method
- Earn and redeem 200 Ahsarah Gold Coins in the Ahsarah Bazaar event

- Tactical Gear – Signal Decoder
- Periodically scans for up to three enemy electronic signals using a decoder and displays these signals’ tracking paths on the contact lens. The path closest to you will be displayed in red. The higher the warning level the enemy received, the closer you are to Hackclaw.
- Gadget – Flash Drone
- Desploys a drone forward, producing a blinding flash of light against enemies within range. When you aim at the decoder’s trajectory, the drone will fly along the selected yellow trajectory.

- Throws the Data Knife to hack into nearby electronic devices on impact and briefly disable them. Direct hits on enemies will deal significant damage.

- Wakling and Cprinching are faster and make less noise.
Shepherd (Terry Musa)
- Position

- Tactical Gear – Sonic Paralysis
- Fires a drone that reduces enemy movement speed and rate of fire in the area. Can also be used to defend an area and hit enemies over four times.
- Gadget – Sonic Trap
- Deploys a trap that can stick to surfaces. Emits a sonic pulse that slows enemies down in its range.
- Gadget – Enhanced Frag Grenade
- Defensive grenade that does AOE damage with shrapnel.
- Trait – Sonic Defense
- Uses hand device to generate anti-phase sound waves to reduce damage from explosion shock.
Stinger (Roy Smee)

- Tactical Gear – Hive-Tech Pistol
- Takes up a Therapeutic Pistol with a lock/track module. While locking on the targets, it can heal multiple allied operators at the same time. While healing, debuffs are also suppressed. Hold the button to heal yourself.
- Gadget – Smokescreen
- Launches a gesture-controlled UAV that emits a smokescreen while flying forward. Hold and turn the button to change the direction of the smokescreen while the UAV is in flight.
- Gadget – Hive-Tech Smoke Grenade
- A multi-purpose smoke grenade. Shoot it with the Therapeutic Pistol to disperse the beehive of medical nanobots in the hormone, coloring it into healing smoke. Visibility will increase after coloring.
- Trait – Expertly Rescue
- Injects a beehive of medical nanobots from the Therapeutic Pistol into a downed squadmate to recover more HP.
Operator Positions explained
- Assault: Faster aiming movement speed. They can also use the AT4 in Havoc Warfare mode.
- Support: Rescue allies faster and use ammo crates in Havoc Warfare mode.
- Recon: Can use the radio to recon the map. They can also use Respawn Beacons in Havoc airfare mode.
- Engineer: They can use welding guns to cut through fences, repair vehicles, and construct defenses. They can also use the AT4 and Striner in Havoc Warfare mode.
The Operator Positions in Delta Force: Hawk Ops gives each character specific attributes based on their battleground role. This system is also found in games like Battlefield 2042, Apex’s Legends, and Overwatch 2’s Heroes where players can select from a range of characters with distinct roles.
Support acts like the Medic role, assisting teammates with resupply and healing. Engineer repairs vehicles and creates new access zones. Assault specializes in explosives and speeding up mobility. Recon functions as a sniper role, featuring respawn beacons.
