Disney Dreamlight Valley features a giant world where players will need to find various cooking ingredients to complete several tasks and befriend different creatures. One of those ingredients is Peanuts, which can only be purchased after unlocking a special shop.

The majority of cooking ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be obtained by cultivating crops from seeds purchased at Goofy’s Stall. But a small batch of ingredients will only be available to those who purchase them from Remy, the beloved rat chef from Ratatouille. Here’s how to get Peanuts from Chez Remy & how to use them.

How to get Peanuts in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In order to get Peanuts in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to complete the quest “Remy’s Recipe Book.” This mission will only become available after reaching Friendship Level 4 with Remy and requires having unlocked the Dazzle Beach Biome.

Keep in mind that you’ll also need to have completed a certain number of Merlin’s quests, which will be indicated in the quest log when trying to accept the “Remy’s Recipe Book” mission.

After finishing “Remy’s Recipe Book,” you’ll be able to buy Peanuts from Remy’s Store for 200 Star Coins per bag.

What are Peanuts used for in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

You can use Peanuts to increase your Friendship Level with Squirrels and all their color variants. Once feeding them enough Peanuts, they can be unlocked as a companion that can join you throughout Dreamlight Valley’s map.

Peanuts are also used for three cooking recipes and are classified in the “Dairy & Oil” category, so they can be used to fill this wildcard ingredient in recipes calling for any ingredient of that type. These are the recipes where you’ll need to use Peanuts in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
