Arena Breakout: Infinite is an intense extraction shooter on PC and mobile, which has left many wondering if the game supports a controller.

To feel the most comfortable in gunfights and get missions completed in a timely fashion, you’ll want to use your preferred input. While the game isn’t on console, many PC and mobile players use their PlayStation and Xbox controllers for titles that support them.

Here’s everything you need to know about whether or not you can use a controller for Arena Breakout: Infinite.

Can you use a controller for Arena Breakout: Infinite?

Arena Breakout: Infinite does not have controller support, but you can use a controller to play the game.

As the input is not supported yet, you’ll find that the buttons will not be mapped correctly, whether you’re hooking up a PS5 or Xbox controller on PC, or a Backbone controller for mobile.

How to use controller for Arena Breakout: Infinite on PC

Connect your controller to your PC as you normally would, and then you’ll need to use a remapping app like reWASD to ensure you’re not missing buttons and that the configuration is intuitive to use.

A player who has been using a controller for Arena Breakout: Infinite kindly shared their configuration for the game on a Steam discussions page. Their configuration mimics that of a normal FPS game that supports a controller.

Some settings need to be changed in-game for this to work smoothly, such as Check Mag being changed to 0, so keep that in mind while trying to use a controller for Arena Breakout: Infinite.

The user who shared the tip said that a “native option would be better,” but the devs have provided no word on whether they are working on official controller support just yet. This isn’t much of a surprise since there are no plans for the game to come to console either.

It’s important to note that the game is currently in early access, so there’s always a chance that the game will eventually support a controller once it officially launches.

Early access for Arena Breakout: Infinite is currently only available on PC and mobile. It’s not on Steam yet, as you can only download the game via the official website.
