The Delta Force: Hawk Ops closed Alpha Test gets underway on August 6, and you might be wondering if your progress carries over to the full launch.

This first session will give fans the opportunity to test out the tactical FPS, including the many weapons and game modes on offer. It could run for some time with no confirmed end date, but does that mean your unlocks will be saved?

Here’s everything you need to know about whether Delta Force: Hawk Ops Alpha progress will carry over.

Will my Delta Force: Hawk Ops PC Alpha Test progress carry over?

No, your progress in the Delta Force: Hawk Ops Alpha Test won’t carry over to future versions of the game. Once the test comes to an end, your account will be completely reset. Any levels you’ve achieved, weapons you’ve unlocked, or rewards you’ve earned will be lost.

The devs confirmed this through the Alpha FAQ page, where they said: “The PC Alpha Test version represents a work-in-progress build of the game, and progress will not be compatible with the release version.”

This progress wipe applies to the full launch, but also any future Alpha or Beta tests that the devs carry out. So despite supporting crossplay, if a console Beta drops in the future you’ll still be required to start from scratch.

The good news is that there is currently no confirmed end date for the Delta Force: Hawk Ops PC Alpha Test. So, you can rest assured that you’ll have access to all your unlocks for the foreseeable future.

It’s also possible for the devs to dish out some permanent rewards for those who help playtest their game at this early stage. These are yet to be announced, but keep an eye out in-game and on their socials for more details.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops is expected to rival Battlefield when it arrives on PC, console, and mobile platforms, but only time will tell how it fairs against 2024’s other big FPS release – Black Ops 6.
