Does Marvel Rivals beta progress carry over?

The Marvel Rivals Closed Beta gives fans the opportunity to try out the best characters early, and it also lets you level up and earn cosmetic rewards. But does this progress carry over to the full launch?

Here’s everything you need to know about whether your beta levels and skins will be available in the final game when it arrives.

Do beta rewards carry over in Marvel Rivals?

Rewards do not carry over from the Marvel Rivals beta into the full game, with the exception of the Cyan Clash Venom skin earned for hitting level 30. All of the other skins, Sprays, Nameplates, and more will be lost.

The devs addressed this in the official beta FAQs, but this left fans confused as it urged them to “make sure to finish all the test activities to obtain exclusive rewards, which can be used after the game’s official release.”

However, when you go into the game itself, only the Venom outfit is marked as “permanent,” suggesting that the other unlocks will be wiped.

This includes any currency you’ve racked up by completing challenges. So you’ll have to earn it all over again on launch day.

Will my level carry forward to the full game?

No, your level will be reset once the beta period ends on August 4 and you will have to start from scratch when the full launch happens. Once the servers go offline, your account will be completely wiped, along with your levels and stats.

This is because there will likely be a fresh Event or Battle Pass live at launch, and the devs want everyone to begin on an even playing field.

If you want to play the Competitive Mode, you’ll have to grind through the early levels to meet the requirements.

If you haven’t managed to get a hold of a beta code yet and want to try out the many heroes and villains, you have the chance to earn one as a Twitch Drop reward.
