Can you play Spider-Man 2 with friends through co-op?

No, Spider-Man 2 doesn’t support multiplayer and co-op, implying that you can only play in single-player mode. This could be disappointing for fans who wanted to beat villains such as Peter and Miles together and swing across New York with their friends. The game’s theme, ‘Be Greater, Together,’ also underlines team-play but clearly, it is about players using both Peter’s and Miles’ skills during their playthrough.

Having said that, the series has been single-player till now and many players seem to be fine with it. Spider-Man 2’s combat is also quite technical and incorporating co-op might not be a priority for the developers.

Although Spider-Man 2 won’t have multiplayer or co-op at launch, the developers might add the feature with a future DLC. For instance, Ghost of Tsushima was a single-player experience at launch but a free DLC by Sucker Punch studios let players enjoy co-op eventually.
