Dr Disrespect’s game studio, Midnight Society, is allowing their founders to play a snapshot of their upcoming ‘Project Moon’ FPS title, and the devs have revealed the whopping minimum PC requirements ahead of the event.

Known for being brutally honest in his opinions about the most popular games, former Call of Duty map designer and top streamer Dr Disrespect launched game studio Midnight Society to develop his own game. Working under the name ‘Project Moon’, Doc’s game is set to be a ‘vertical FPS game’ with PvPvE elements.

‘Founders’ are going to be some of the first people in the world to play the game, with a “snapshot build” dropping on July 29. Telling players to “make sure your PC specs are up to snuff,” Midnight Society dropped the minimum PC requirements and founders are concerned.

Dr Disrespect’s Project Moon minimum PC specs

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 17-7700k 4.2 GHz
  • Memory: 32 GB RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1080
  • Storage: 20 GB available HDD space

Midnight Society fans were shocked to see how RAM-heavy Project Moon is set to be, with the devs setting a minimum requirement of 32 GB. To compare, some of the best-looking AAA PC games such as God of War and Elden Ring only ask for 8-16 GB of RAM to play at the recommended settings.

“32GB memory?? Jesus that’s a lot, hopefully [my] 16GB kit is good enough,” replied one worried player. ” One player said they “don’t even wanna know” what the recommended specs would be if this is the minimum.

However, with this being an extremely early build of the game, and the first time that founders get to play, some are hoping that the game will be further optimized down the line, allowing lower-spec PCs to run the game comfortably.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 arrives on October 28, and even though Doc believes it can’t “match” his own game, you can also check out everything we know about the leaked Escape from Tarkov-inspired DMZ mode.
