A lion-like character in Dragon's Dogma 2

Even though you may have spent hours creating your Dragon’s Dogma 2 character, you could get bored midway through your playthrough. So, you’ll need to know the steps for making a new one. Here, we’ll discuss everything required to make a new character in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

There’s no question that Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character creator is one of the best we’ve seen in recent times. You were able to get access to it early and tweak a lot of the settings ahead of time, allowing for wild and wacky combinations before even booting up the game.

As previously mentioned though, even if you’re happy with your character to begin with, it’s always nice to make more changes, even if you do have some Pawns of all shapes and sizes. Here are the steps you can take to switch up that character.

How to make a new character in Dragon’s Dogma 2

The only real way to make a brand new character in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is to create a new save file and completely start over.

While this is a simple task in most games, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is slightly more complicated, requiring you to delete your save file.

To do this on console, you’ll have to delete the associated data within the storage menu of your device. On PC, you’ll have to enter your Steam user data and remove the necessary files.

It’s like this because you cannot have multiple save files, severely hindering any character tweaking.

If you’re just looking to change up your character’s appearance instead of completely starting over, this can be done in-game. To get this done, simply head over to a Barberie and switch up your look by purchasing the Art of Metamorphosis book, which costs 500 RC each.

Can you have multiple characters in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

No, there is no way of having multiple characters in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Again, this is because you’re only allowed one save file.

Technically, you can get around this by having multiple profiles on your consoles/PC, but this is a huge annoyance and requires you to log out and log back in over and over.
