If you’re struggling with the Paper Shadows A-Foraging event, here is a simple guide explaining how it works, as well as solutions for all stages.
How to play Lantern Rite Paper Shadows A-Foraging in Genshin Impact
Paper Shadows A-Foraging in Genshin Impact is a top-down puzzle where your goal is to guide Guoba and Yuegui to a certain objective. The objective item is different from level to level, like Fowl or Matsutake in the initial few levels.
Of course, it won’t be a straight and easy path for Guoba-san or Yuegui. The catch here is that both of them are limited to a certain number of steps. These steps only count how far Guoba or Yuegui can travel, so you can always backtrack and get the steps back, and things you do, like moving a crate, will stay as is and won’t be reset.
Each level may also have certain hurdles of its own, like in the initial few levels, where the items are locked and you need to first get to the key to unlock them.
So, to conclude, in this Paper Theater all you have to do is get to the objective in the limited amount of moves you have. And if you’re struggling to find the right route, below is a stage-wise guide detailing what to do in each stage.

Once you get the key, the paths for both should be sorted. Just head down for Yuegui and for Guoba it’ll be fairly simple to get there.
