As fun as the objective may sound, finding the item can be tricky.

Gray Zone Warfare: How to complete True Grit task

To complete the True Grit task in Gray Zone Warfare, you’ll need to locate a motel near the shooting range and then find an antique revolver inside it. The task’s description states that the revolver is “somewhere in the shooting range,” but that isn’t entirely correct.

After tracking down the motel, you’ll need to find a key and go to the corresponding room mentioned in its name. The antique revolver is inside, and as per the game, it was wielded by John Wayne in True Grit, so there’s a cool bit of lore for you.

The Antique Revolver in Gray Zone Warfare is inside motel room 102, located near the shooting range at Hunter’s Paradise in map squares 161 167.

The motel is located directly south of the shooting range, and you’ll encounter plenty of AI enemies in the area. After dealing with them, look for room number 102, as the revolver is kept inside.

The only way to get the Motel Room key in Gray Zone Warfare is by killing the enemies near the motel and looting their bodies. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to grab the key after defeating a few enemies. However, there’s always the chance that you’ll have to mow down many enemies before it pops up.

The item is named Hunter’s Paradise Motel Room 102 key. Just head inside room 102 and you’ll find the revolver in a case sitting on a table beside the bed.

To hand over the antique revolver to Handshake and complete the True Grit task in Gray Zone Warfare, return to Base Camp. Once you’re there, open up the menu, click on ‘Vendors,’ then select Handshake, and click on ‘Hand Over’ under Objectives.
