GTA Online leaker reveals upcoming UFO event that could end with Grand Theft Auto 6 announcement

A prominent Rockstar Games insider is claiming that a Grand Theft Auto 6 announcement will arrive at the end of the GTA Online Halloween UFO event.

While Rockstar are being tight-lipped about GTA 6, the highly anticipated game has generated a ton of hype among the Grand Theft Auto community, and the devs confirmed that its development hasn’t been delayed by the leaks.

Players are eagerly awaiting new information about the sixth entry in Rockstar’s popular open-world franchise. Now, one notable leaker has revealed when players should expect an official GTA 6 announcement.

Back in August, prominent Rockstar Games insider ‘Tez2’ claimed that there’s a “high chance” of the new game’s announcement happening during the GTA Online Halloween event. This will reportedly take place after UFOs pop up around Los Santos.

On October 1, he added that the event will start on 15 October and that the “Fort Zancudo UFO, unlike the normal UFO model, will appear on Sunday, 23 October 2022.” If Tez2 is correct, there’s a chance that the GTA Online event could end with a GTA 6 announcement.

It’s worth keeping in mind that a lot of this is based on rumors and leaks. This began after GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition players discovered a photograph in the Lil’ Probe’Inn of a house that seemed to be located in Vice City and had a UFO above it.

Since GTA 6 is rumored to be set in Vice City, players assumed that Rockstar might be teasing the new game. While this sounds promising, Tez2 clarified in an earlier comment in the GTA Forums that the Grand Theft Auto 6 tease is “only speculation.”

Since this is just a leak, it’s uncertain whether or not Rockstar Games are actually planning to do a GTA 6 announcement during the GTA Online Halloween event. We’ll be sure to update you if they do.
