This year is packed with new-gen souls-likes and Lords of the Fallen is the newest addition to that list. As the game seems to be inspired by Elden Ring with a huge world, many wonder about the game’s length. Here’s how it will take you to beat Lords of the Fallen.

Lords of the Fallen is the newest souls-like title on the market, developed in Unreal Engine 5 to bring new-gen graphics and gameplay into the niche. With some promising gameplay mechanics inspired by the likes of Elden Ring and FormSoftware, this game will likely be adored by many fans of the genre.

The developers of the game have stated previously that LOTF’s map will be five times bigger than its prequel with the same name, released back in 2014. This means the game will have much more content packed in, which indicates a longer run time.

Here’s how long it will take you to beat Lords of the Fallen.

How long is The Lords of the Fallen?

It will take you approximately 30 hours to beat Lords of the Fallen if you just focus on the main story. This was confirmed by the game’s Executive Producer, Saul Gascon, and Creative Director, Cezar Virtosu in an interview with MP1st.

However, it was also mentioned in a Reddit post from the developers that it could take between “35 to 40 hours” to finish one playthrough.

However, 30 hours will only be for those who focus only on the main story. There will be much more to discover in the game, as you have side quests, NPC runs, and a huge world to explore. Additionally, if you are a completionist who wants to get all the achievements in the game, it will take you even longer.

Aside from all the additional content in Lords of the Fallen, you also have three different endings to discover in the game. According to the devs, the endings will depend on the factions you decide to align with during your playthrough. To top it all off, there is also a New Game Plus mode that you can start after your first playthrough.

Keeping in mind all these points, you might be spending much more than 30 hours in the game, depending on how much you want to explore and discover in Lords of the Fallen. This was everything you had to know the time needed to beat this game.
