How long is Tekken 8? Main story length & time to beat
Bandai NamcoTekken 8 is set to bring a new chapter in the Mishima storyline, but the Story mode doesn’t tend to be hugely long. Here’s the campaign time to beat for Tekken 8.
Bandai Namco’s iconic fighting series sees its return to current-gen consoles and PC with Tekken 8, after nine long years of absence. It returns in style, as the game has received critical acclaim and has become one of the highest-rated entries in the franchise.
Tekken 8 makes plenty of new additions and introduces new characters to the storied series, and it’ll continue to bring more content throughout the year, as the game will receive extensive post-launch support.
All that said, here’s how long Tekken 8’s main story campaign is.
How long is Tekken 8 main story?
Tekken 8’s main campaign will take around 5 hours to beat. That’s the amount of time you’ll need to wrap up the game’s main father-son saga.
Of course, like all the entries in the series, Tekken 8 will have plenty of other modes and gameplay to offer. The time to beat for the game is still longer than most other entries in the series.
If you go by HLTB, most stories in Tekken games could be wrapped within a couple of hours. The longest it ever took for a game in the series was 7.5 hours for Tekken 6. Meanwhile, Tekken 7 took only around 3.5 hours to complete.
While it is short compared to Street Fighter 6, which features a ridiculous 20-hour-long campaign, Tekken 8 is still in line with its other contemporaries, like Mortal Kombat 1.
That’s everything about the main campaign length in Tekken 8. For more on the game, check out:
