Dead Island 2’s main story features 24 missions to tick off before hitting the credits. There are also 33 side quests, but these are totally optional and do not progress the campaign, even if they do provide valuable rewards.
If you stay on the beaten path, you can probably hit the end of Dead Island 2 somewhere between 15 and 20 hours. However, this could stretch out much longer if want to see and do everything.
