Where to catch Woodskip in Stardew Valley
In Stardew Valley, you can catch Woodskip in the pond in the Secret Woods. While you can fish them all year round, they have a higher chance of being caught during non-rainy days.
The Secret Woods is to the Northwest of the Wizard’s house and can be accessed by breaking down the log with a Steel Axe.
If you choose the Forest Farm map, you will be able to catch Woodksip in the ponds in your farm. Alternatively, the Traveling Cart also randomly sells Woodskips for 225 – 1000 Gold each.

- Maki Roll – 1 Woodskip, 1 Seaweed, and 1 Rice
- Quality Fertilizer – 4x Sap and 1 Woodskip
- Sashimi – Woodskip
- Used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create a Fishing Vest.
- Used in dying pots to create an orange dye.
- Can be requested for the Fish Pond Quest by Dorado, Lingcod, or Pike
- Produce Roe, Wood, Hardwood, Acord, Maple Seed, and Pine Cone when placed in a Fish Pond.
- Used in the Specialty Fish Bundle in the Fish Tank.
- Sell it for 75 – 225 Gold.
Similar to most fishes, gifting a Woodskip to villagers won’t get you anything. Demetrius, Elliott, Leo, Linus, Pam, Sebastian, and Willy have a neutral reaction towards it while the other villagers dislike or hate receiving Woodksip.
