Palworld’s map is packed full of colorful Pals to track down, coming in all different shapes and sizes. There are 111 different species if you look complete the Paldeck, from common creatures that can be found almost anywhere to rare and powerful boss Pals.

Over the course of your journey across the Palpagos Islands as you level up, you’ll likely find yourself with plenty of duplicates. With this in mind, players might want to rename their favorite Pals to make them more recognizable and add even more personality.

How to rename Pals in Palworld

The easiest way to change a Pal’s name in Palworld is by heading to the Party tab of the options menu. From here, simply head over to the Pal you want to rename and select ‘Edit’ to bring up a text box, allowing you to enter a new name.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to rename a Pal in Palworld:

1. Pause the game to bring up the menu.
2. Scroll to the Party tab.
3. Select the Pal you want to change and select ‘Edit.’
