Once Human has a few quests you can complete, and Explore Holt Town tasks you with some tricky objectives. If you’re struggling to get through it, we’ve got you covered.

Holt Town has a recommended level of 30, so it’s important that you prepare yourself properly before taking on this quest. Here’s everything you need to know to complete it.

Holt Town location in Once Human

Holt Town is in Chalk Peak, just South of Norton Farm and close to the border of Broken Delta in Once Human.

The exact coordinates where you can find it are 3818, -4451. As mentioned, this area has a recommended level of 30, so make sure you’ve reached this level before you try and explore it.

Once you reach Holt Town, you can complete the Explore Holt Town quest. All you need to do to complete this quest is fully explore the town, which involves finding the Mystical Crate, all weapon and armor crates, defeating some enemies, and activating the Rift Anchor.

Where to find the Holt Town Mystical Crate in Once Human

The Mystical Crate in Holt Town can be found on the first floor of the Museum building. You can get into this building by going through the hole on the roof after you’ve activated the Rift Anchor.

Once you’re inside the building, follow these steps:

Enter the art exhibition area.
Use the elevator to reach the second floor.
Take the Rosetta V2 access card on a nearby table.
Pass through the yellow corridor behind the elevator.
Interact with the terminal at the end of the corridor.
Enter the lab and find the Mystical Crate inside.

The Mystical Crate can be found in this building.

Defeat normal enemies

The next step in the quest is to defeat 12 normal enemies in Holt Town. Equip your best weapons, and once you’ve defeated 12 enemies, this step will be complete.

They can be found around Holt Town, so make sure you do some exploring while you do this for any extra loot you can grab on the way.

Find Weapon and Armor Crates

There are quite a few weapon and armor crates to find in Holt Town, and you need to open four of them for the next step of the quest. Here are their locations:

Crate 1: In an empty pool in front of a big white house. The house is close to the South of Holt Town.
Crate 2: On the ground floor of the Museum.
Crate 3: In the dining hall of the Manor. If you enter through the main entrance, it’s the first room on the right hand side.
Crate 4: Behind the shed North-East of the Manor.

How to activate the Holt Town Rift Anchor in Once Human

To activate the Rift Anchor in Holt Town, you need to make sure you’ve progressed the main quest. Rift Anchors are tied to Monoliths in a given location, so you need to access them to complete all tasks in that region.

If you’re unable to activate the Rift Anchor in Holt Town, you’re going to need to go back and progress the main quest more. You should be able to access the Rift Anchor once you’ve progressed the main quest in Chalk Peak and have unlocked the Monolith.

You can see the position of Holt Town’s Rift Anchor on your map, and it’s located in the North-West corner.

Other Holt Town secrets

Even if you complete Explore Holt Town, you can find more secrets like another Mystical Crate, a Special Recipe, and a riddle to solve.

Secret Mystical Crate

There’s a hidden Mystical Crate in Holt Town which you can find next to the house with the empty pool. It’s the same area where you find the first weapons crate. Hidden behind a hedge, you can spot the Mystical Crate just West of the house.

Riddle Quest

If you enter Holt Town from the South, you can start this small quest by entering the first house on the right. All you need to do is follow the clues and then open the crate which has a passcode. If you haven’t managed to find the code, it’s 1234.

Special Recipe

The Mixed Fried Hot Dog recipe can be found in Holt Town, right in front of the Green Grove Union Building. The exact coordinates are 3636, -4386, and you’ll be able to spot it inside the diner in front of Green Grove.
