How to complete Halloween Event in Lords of the Fallen: All pumpkin locations

The Lords of the Fallen devs have introduced a brand new Halloween Event, which tasks players with tracking down pumpkins. Here’s how to complete the Halloween Pumpkin Event in Lords of the Fallen.

Lords of the Fallen has achieved plenty of critical success since its release on October 13, 2023. With more than $20 million worth of sales already achieved, the game is considered by many fans to be one of the best soulslikes of 2023.

With its daily surge of updates and patches, Hexworks have also introduced a new Halloween Event, that involves collecting several pumpkins in the game. In return, you will get a peculiar Pumpkin helmet and a hefty amount of Umbral Scourings.

Here’s how to complete the Halloween Event in Lords of the Fallen.

How to complete the Halloween Event in Lords of the Fallen

You will have to collect a total of six mysterious pumpkins throughout Mournstead to complete the Halloween Event in Lords of the Fallen. Make sure that you have defeated The Hushed Saint boss before heading on to this quest, otherwise, no pumpkins will spawn.

Keep in mind that you will have to go into Umbral and soulflay each of these pumpkins to successfully unlock the hidden memories. You will get 2 Umbral Scourings for completing each pumpkin.

Here are the locations of six pumpkins in the game:

• Skyrest Bridge: Behind and below the main hub, below the Tortured Prisoner’s cell. Get into Umbral move down the stairs to find a gate on your left, and go through it to find the first pumpkin.
• Abandoned Redcopse, Vestige of Hannalore: Move ahead into the village and find a large area where you will have to go right. Instead, go to the left to find the second pumpkin behind some crates.
• Forsaken Fen, Vestige of Valade: Move through the door right beside the Vestige and go through the ladder on your immediate left. Go straight until you reach a large bonfire with the third pumpkin.
• Fief of the Chill Curse, Vestige of Loash: Go down the river behind the beacon, take an immediate left, and keep moving ahead. You will have to open an area by soulflaying an Umbral parasite to find the fourth pumpkin on the right.
• Pilgrim’s Pearch, Vestige of Ferrers the Charred: Keep moving towards the lift on the right and then take it to move down. Then take the ladder on the left to go back to Pilgrim’s Perch and the pumpkin will sit in a corner on one of the wooden planks on the left.
• The Hushed Saint boss arena: Dawn the armor set of The Hushed Saint and get back to its arena to find the last pumpkin. Soulflaying it will start the boss fight with Spirit of the Bleak Season.

How to defeat Spirit of the Bleak Season in Lords of the Fallen

Spirit of the Bleak Season is actually a Crimson Reaper in Lords of the Fallen that appears after you collect the last pumpkin. It is the same reaper that appears when you are too long into Umbral and is easily one of the most difficult enemies in the game.

Equip a high-damage weapon and make sure to dodge all of its attacks. Once you find an opening, just hit it and keep doing it until it dies. Although you can make use of magic or ranged weapons by increasing your distance from the enemy, it can get difficult and the process is much slower as the boss likes to move around a lot.

Once you defeat it, you will get the Pumpkin Mask which is a Medium Head armor with decent defensive stats. However, you will also get eight Umbral Scourings from this fight alone, and will also get the ones you got by soulflaying all the pumpkins.
