How to create your Dragon’s Dogma 2 character early
CapcomDragon’s Dogma 2 fans can now create their Arisen and Main Pawn before the official game’s release on March 22. Don’t know how to start using this free demo tool? Here’s all you need to know.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is arriving March 22, 12 years after the initial release of the first game, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on Capcom’s latest. The open-world Action RPG sets the stage for a new medieval fantasy adventure filled with magic and, of course, dragons.
If you want to get your hands on its character creator and get your Arisen and Main Pawn ready before the game releases, Capcom have you covered.
Here’s how to download and use the free Character Creation and Storage tool for Dragon’s Dogma 2.
How to use Dragon’s Dogma 2 character creator early
To use the Dragon’s Dogma 2 character creator early, players simply need to download it from the PlayStation and Microsoft Stores or Steam for the PC version.
You can completely customize your character and Main Pawn, including its name, body build, gender, race, and more. The races available are Human or Beastren for the Arisen and Pawns, but also the Elcen race is in the game, but players won’t be able to select this race in the early or full game’s creator.
Back in January, during an interview with IGN, the game’s director Hideaki Itsuno spoke about all the character creation possibilities in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Itsuno told IGN that “the character creator was something they put a lot of work into for the first game, but with better hardware performance this time around, they could add as much freedom to the system as they wanted.”
Of course, you will be able to transfer your created characters to the full game, given that you download the Character Creator on the same platforms you will play the full game on.
