How to find Diallos in Elden Ring: Locations & questline

As you travel through The Lands Between in Elden Ring, you stumble upon some NPC every now and then, and Diallos is one of them. However, he has a pretty extensive questline attached to him, and completing it will require you to travel to multiple regions in the game.

On that note, here’s how to complete Diallos’ questline in Elden Ring.

Diallos location in Elden Ring

You will encounter Diallos for the first time in the Roundtable Hold of Elden Ring. When you make your way to the hold for the first time, you will be able to see Diallos standing right around the large table in the middle.

To begin the questline, you should go and have a chat with him.

Once you interact with Diallos in the Roundtable Hold of Elden Ring, he will let you know that his companion, Lanya is missing. He will also ask you to keep an eye out for her while you are traveling through The Lands Between.

After moving through Lirunia and heading over to the Academy of Raya Lucaria, you can activate the second encounter with Diallos in Elden Ring by simply heading north from the Academy Gate Town Site of Grace. Soon you will find Diallos standing over Lanya’s body, mourning in sadness. Interact with him exhaust all the dialogue options and prepare for the next encounter.

You can head over to Volcano Manor from Mt Gelmir, which is the region right after completing Liurnia in Elden Ring. Both the Volcano Manor and Diallos’ questlines should be progressed simultaneously so do not hesitate to have a chat with him once you encounter him in Volcano Manor. Make sure that you interact with him after every hunt on behalf of the Volcano Manor.

Once you have completed the Volcano Manor’s questline, Diallos will leave with everyone else in the Manor, indicating that the quest has progressed in Elden Ring. Finally, head over to Jarburg to find him at the feet of one of the jars revealing a fair amount of detail about himself.

Now wait for 3-4 in-game days and return to Jarburg to find that a poacher attacked the village and Diallos is mortally wounded. He will ask if he was successful in defending the village, and can choose whichever option you feel is the best for your character.

Finally, after yet another reload, Diallos will be lying dead on the ground as Jar-Bairn will be standing beside him, letting you know of his desire to become a great warrior like him.

After the interaction with Jar-Bairn in Elden Ring, you can reload the area once again to get the following rewards for completing the questline from Diallos’s body:

• Hoslow’s Petal Whip
• Diallos’s Mask
• Numen’s Rune
