No Rest for the Wicked has a lot of interesting characters you need to get acquainted with if you want to survive the isle of Sacra, and Markos the Alchemist is the key to crafting potions in the game.

How to find Markos the Alchemist in No Rest for the Wicked

To find Markos the Alchemist in No Rest for the Wicked, players need to travel to the Orban Glades area and find Iona’s Cavern. This place is located near the western entrance of Sacra, near a wooden bridge before the Cerim Wisper area.

Once you enter Iona’s Cave, follow the tunnel until you encounter an NPC called Markos near a small camp. Talking to him will unlock The Potion Seller side quest, that you will need to complete next.

How to complete The Potion Seller in No Rest for the Wicked

To complete The Potion Seller quest in No Rest for the Wicked, players will need to travel to the innermost part of Iona’s Cavern and retrieve Iona’s bloom for Markos, the Alchemist.

From the starting point of the quest (Markos’ Camp) travel eastwards, passing through the ledges and ladders, going up until you reach the Cerim Wisper area. From there, go north, and you’ll find a passage that will lead to the Iona’s bloom. Interact with the flower in the middle to trigger a cutscene.

Now you need to go back to Markos by following the invisible bridges that are revealed with the Iona’s bloom power. You need to reach Markos to complete the quest, but beware of the enemies on the ledges. If you die, you will need to restart all the process again.

Completing The Potion Seller quest unlocks access to Potion recipes, the alchemy table crafting station that you can buy from Maker Danos, and a public station near Markos.
