NetEaseMarvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test has just begun, but some players have reported a few problems when trying to get access to NetEase servers. If you’re facing a Network error, here are a few tips on how to solve it.
Marvel Rivals has finally released the first phase of its Closed Alpha Test and, along with the Dawn of the Legends tournament, players will be able to test five new game modes. NetEase’s Hero-based team shooter is an always-online FPS, and users can be accidentally forced to log off due to a random Network Error.
If you can’t launch Marvel Rivals due to the Network Error, here’s what you can do to solve it.
Marvel Rivals: How to fix Network Error
While NetEase haven’t addressed this issue officially, there are several reasons that can result in a Network Error that cuts you off from the game.
If there are problems on NetEase’s end, then you can check the game’s server status by going to Marvel Rivals’ official social media or official Discord server.
To discard any problems on your end, you can try with these methods:
- Check if your internet connection is working. If you made sure that Marvel Rivals servers are up, check if your connection is stable enough. We recommend you also try restarting your router before trying to enter the game again.
- Set an exception for Marvel Rivals in your antivirus software and Windows Firewall.
- Verify the integrity of the game cache. If you’re playing on PC, you should open Steam, and go to the Marvel Rivals hub. After entering the Properties tab, go to Local Files and click on “Verify integrity of game files.”
And that’s everything you can do to fix the Network Error in Marvel Rivals. If you want to know more about Marvel’s latest FPS, you can check our guides below:
