Wuthering Waves: How to get Phantom Echoes
There are three methods to get Phantom Echoes in Wuthering Waves, including buying them, farming them at certain locations, and visiting other worlds in multiplayer.
Buy them from Points Store & Illusive shop
There are currently some Phantom Echoes available in the Drill Store and Adversity Exchange tabs of the Point Shop, but you’ll need to spend your in-game currency to get them. Keep in mind that these offers will change when the shop resets.
After completing the “Depths of Illusive Realm” challenge, you’ll be able to purchase them in the Illusive Shop.
Farm them in Phantom Echo locations
If you don’t want to buy them, you can always try to get one by exploring the regions of Huanglong. While there isn’t a specific location for you to find them, players have reported that there are some areas where you’re more likely to get a Phantom Echo. More on that below.
Visit other worlds in multiplayer
Since Echo spawns reset daily, you can also try visiting your friends’ worlds so you don’t have to wait for a day to keep looking for more Phantom Echoes.
What are Phantom Echoes in Wuthering Waves?
Phantom Echoes are mutated Tacit Discords that can be found in Wuthering Waves. These are called “Phantom” or “shiny” Echoes because they are extremely rare to find and have a different color than usual.
While they don’t give any particular benefit when defeated, you can absorb a Phantom Echo to change the skin of your normal Echo. To do so, you’ll have to go to your Echo Gallery, and select “Apply the Phantom Echo Appearance”.
