How to get Sproutlets in Once Human Rosetta transport truck event
Starry StudiosOnce Human saw some downtime on July 18 for server maintenance and bug fixes, but the devs have also added a new gameplay event where you chase down a Rosetta truck and collect a rare resource known as Sproutlets.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Rosetta truck and how to get Sproutlets in Once Human.
Where to get Sproutlets in Once Human
You can get Sproutlets in Once Human by completing the Rosetta transport truck and Cargo Scuffle gameplay events.
The Rosetta transport truck event requires you to chase down a truck that spawns on the map and collect Sproutlets that fall out from behind it. The truck will drive around highways in Red Sands, and you’ll need to collect the Sproutlets either by picking them up as mentioned or ramming into the truck so they drop.
To complete Cargo Scuffle, you need to look for a Cargo truck that appears on the map at random. Shoot the truck, and once it breaks down, a Seed of Life will attach to a player’s head that’s closest to the truck.
You’ll gain Sproutlets while you have the Jellyfish-like seed on your head, but if another player kills you, they’ll get the seed instead and get Sproutlets as a reward.
Rosetta transport truck event explained
The Rosetta transport truck event in Once Human tasks players with chasing down a transport truck to collect Sproutlets that fall on the ground.
Between 9 PM and 10 PM server time every night, a Rosetta transport truck appears in Red Sands carrying Sproutlets. During this time, Durability loss is disabled and there will be no gear drops.
So, you don’t need to worry about missing anything while you chase the truck down with your bike or car, but you also won’t damage anything when you ram it. The event is available in both PvP and PvE, although the game mode is primarily PvP.
How to use Sproutlets in Once Human
Sproutlets are a kind of currency in Once Human that you can use to buy weapon and armor mods, crafting materials, and cosmetics.
To use them, you need to go to a safe zone like Deadsville and look for Nisa. She’s a small girl that has a Mushroom on her head, and her shop offers a variety of weapon and armor mods that you can buy using Sproutlets.
It’s a pretty rare currency and has only been found during gameplay events like the Rosetta truck, so make sure you get to Red Sands between the hours it’s active to grab as many as you can.
Both events have PvP elements, so your gear must be in good condition before you take them on. Gold Ore and Aluminum Ore are resources you’ll need for upgrades, so make sure you build your base in the best place to make mining easier.
