Where to find T1 Essence in Nightingale
T1 Essence can be found in Nightingale in the Realms that are created by the major Realm Cards.
You will find T1 Essence once you enter the Realms created by these Realm Cards:
- Provisioner Realm Card found in the Provisioner Site of Power.
- Antiquarium Realm Card that can be crafted using the Enchanter’s Focus.
- Astrolabe Realm Card found in the Astrolabe Site of Power.
All Realm Cards have a few ways that you can find them. The Provisioner Realm Card, for example, can be found once you have defeated the boss in the Provisioner Site of Power in the Abeyance Realm. It can also be bought from the Ascended Forest Astrolabe Essence Trader, Ascended Desert Astrolabe Essence Trader, and Ascended Swamp Astrolabe Essence Trader.
You can also get the Astrolabe Realm Card this way, but just beat the boss at its relevant Site of Power instead.
The Antiquarium Realm Card needs a blueprint so you can craft it. You can find this blueprint near the top of the tower of your first Abeyance Swamp Realm camp and use an Enchanter’s Focus to craft it.
Once you have the Cards you need in hand, you will be able to access the Realms that have T1 Essence in them.
How to get T1 Essence in Nightingale
T1 Essence can be obtained in Nightingale by looting chests and animals, defeating Fae, and completing quests.
Strictly speaking, once you have unlocked your second Realm, you will be able to find T1 Essence in the same places you found Essence. However, there are some specific locations to look at for the resource.
Here is a list of the places you can find T1 Essence:
- Sites of Power
- Defeating enemies and animals
- Looting chests
- Completing Encounters
- Releasing Hope Echoes
After you have completed your first Realmwalk, you will come across Aurelio Acevedo Ortega. He asks you to get 25 T1 Essence to prove your worth.
The easiest way to farm T1 Essence for this quest is to go to the Fae Tower, which should be marked on your map in the Antiquarian Realm. A single walkthrough of this tower will yield at least 100 T1 Essence, but you need to be careful of the bosses at the higher levels.
Thankfully, each level will give you a good amount of T1 Essence. So, if you don’t feel ready to take on the whole Tower, you can just do the first couple of levels and farm the rest of the T1 Essence you need from enemies, points of interest, and looting.
Hope Echoes are rewards that you can get from completing Puzzle Cores. If you decide to release them to the altar, you have a chance of obtaining some T1 Essence. Given that these are rare, though, the best way to farm T1 Essence is through Encounters.
