How to get True Ending in Persona 3 Reload
Atlus / SegaPersona 3 Reload is a game about decisions, and many of these can seriously alter the outcome. At a certain point in the game, players are asked a critical question that can trigger P3R’s True Ending, and here’s what you should answer.
Persona 3 Reload is a game where every decision matters, and while doing many activities in Port Island, the MC will meet new characters to interact with. Going out to eat, to clubs, and even going on vacations can unlock new dialogue options for every Social Link.
When engaging in the School year, certain answers to specific characters like Ryoji Mochizuki can change the fate of SEES and their battle against The Dark Hour. At a certain point in Persona 3 Reload, the Investigation Group will need to make a difficult choice.
So, here’s what to answer to that difficult choice Ryoji presents to unlock Persona 3 Reload’s True Ending.
How to unlock True Ending in Persona 3 Reload
To unlock the True Ending of Persona 3 Reload, players will need to spare Ryoji Mochizuki on 12/31 when he asks the players to kill him. This will unlock the game’s third semester and start the last playable month, avoiding the Bad Ending.
Ryoji is actually Pharos, the mysterious boy who appears every month at night to talk to the protagonist, and the Appriser of Death. Nyx, the mother of all and the game’s final boss will bring The Fall to the world as Ryoji explains to the group.
The transfer student will regain his memories in December, and inform SEES that his presence is the signal Nyx needs to end the world. He explains the end is inevitable and that if you kill him, you will lose all your Dark Hour memories and live a normal life until the end.
If you choose to kill him, you will unlock the game’s Bad Ending, and won’t be able to play during January. Sparing him will prepare the group for the True Ending, and reaching the top of Tartarus on 1/31 will trigger the final boss fight.
So, now you know what to answer to see Persona 3 Reload’s True Ending. Remember you can save rewind in case you miss your opportunity with Ryoji, so don’t stress if you follow his instructions and kill him in the end.
