How to merge rooms in Fallout Shelter
BethesdaMerging rooms in Fallout Shelter can be a great way to increase your Vault’s productivity and farm valuable resources. So here’s how to merge rooms in Fallout Shelter.
As you start building various important rooms in Fallout Shelter, you will be able to attract more and more Dwellers to your Vault. Merging some of the rooms can be beneficial as the productivity is increased massively, and so is the Cap gain.
On that note, here’s how to merge rooms in Fallout Shelter.
Merging rooms in Fallout Shelter explained
To merge rooms in Fallout Shelter, you will need to build two rooms that are identical and are of the same type side-by-side. This will double the size of the room, which will in turn increase the amount of Dwellers you can assign there.
However, there’s another prerequisite that you need to be wary of and that is the room level. You will only be able to merge rooms that are of the same level in Fallout Shelter. Rooms will automatically merge once they reach the same level in the game.
For example, you will not be able to merge a Level 1 Power Generator with a Level 2 one. In this case, you will have to hold up until both the rooms are of the same level, and then merge them to get the desired results.
A single room will only be capable of sheltering two Dwellers, whereas a merged double room is capable of having four. However, if you are still not gratified with the results, simply join another single room to make it a triple room, capable of holding six Dwellers.
Planning and organizing your Vault can take you a long way in Fallout Shelter, and merging rooms can be a great of doing so. Having similar kinds of rooms merged into a large space keeps your resources in one place, instead of managing a bunch of scattered rooms.
