How to play 2XKO Alpha Lab playtest
Riot Games2XKO is an upcoming fighting game from Riot that will rival the likes of Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, and Mortal Kombat 1. Set within the League of Legends universe, the 2v2 team-based title is about to enter an Alpha test, allowing selected players to try it early.
If you’re interested in testing out 2XKO, here’s how to join the Alpha test.
Start & end date
2XKO’s Alpha test will kick off on August 8 and run until August 19. During the playtest, only the online mode will be available which will see participating players take on each other.
This test period collects feedback regarding gameplay systems, allowing the devs to implement changes before the full release.
How to join
To join the Alpha playtest, register on the game’s official sign-up page. You’ll need a valid email and a Riot account to complete registration. After this, you’ll receive an email with a link to a survey that will ask you questions regarding your interests and gaming preferences.
Complete the survey, and if selected, you’ll receive an email invitation around the time the playtest begins. Just pick your preferred platform, download the game, and jump in.
Keep in mind that the Alpha test is only available for these regions:

- US
- Canada
- France
- Brazil
- Japan
- Mexico
Platforms
The 2XKO Alpha will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game will not be present on last-gen consoles.
