Rise of the Ronin: How to play multiplayer

To play multiplayer in Rise of the Ronin, you’ll need to reach the Longhouse. This location lets you store items, change your character’s look, and allow you to start co-op sessions with other players.

You’ll get to the Longhouse as part of the main story path. It’ll be given to you right after you reach the Miyozaki Pleasure District and speak to Taka Murayama. 

After reaching the Longhouse, follow these steps to play multiplayer:

• Head to the Longhouse, and open the Options menu
• Select ‘Cooperate‘ from the menu
• Select the mission you want to play through

The difficulty of co-op missions will be scaled as per the gear and strength of each player. This means that higher-level players are in for a tougher challenge.

Rise of the Ronin: How many players can play multiplayer

Rise of the Ronin lets up to four players participate in co-op missions. Aside from your friends, you can also team up with random players to take on challenging quests.

Is there PvP in Rise of the Ronin?

Rise of the Ronin does not feature PvP, unlike Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and 2017’s Nioh. The only form of multiplayer in the game is co-op, which may come as a blow to souls-like fans who enjoy invading other players.
