Delta Force: Hawk Ops is an exciting new Battlefield-style FPS game that players can experience early with an Alpha Test.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to play the closed Alpha, including the new start date and how to register.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops Alpha Test release date

The Alpha Test for Delta Force: Hawk Ops will begin on August 6 as confirmed by the developers via a post on X.

The game was scheduled to launch on July 18 but the developers wanted to address some issues that they had discovered during the pre-alpha technical test on July 11. The problems included “long queuing times for multiplayer modes and localization issues.”

The Alpha is for PC only, so, unfortunately, console and mobile players will not be able to participate when it goes live.

How to get Delta Force: Hawk Ops Alpha key

  1. Visit the official Delta Force website.
  2. Press the “Join Test” button on the screen.
  3. Log in or register.
  4. Select the game modes you’d like to test for.
  5. You’ll then be redirected to a survey that you must complete.
  6. Once you finish the survey, await an email regarding confirmation of your access to the Alpha.

Along with the announcement of a new date, the developers are also giving away 100 new keys which will allow players to participate in the Alpha Test.

Keep in mind that the PC Alpha Test is limited, so you may not be selected even after following the steps to register. You will be notified within 24 hours of the Alpha’s start.

Steam

You can also register for the beta through the game’s Steam page. Just sign into Steam, head to the game page, and select the “Request Access” button. Once you do this, you will receive an email with a key if you have been selected.

Twitch Drops

The final way to gain access to the Alpha Test is through Twitch Drops. Simply connect your Twitch to your Delta Force account and watch a streamer playing the game with drops enabled for one hour and you’ll get a Steam key for the Alpha Test.

To get a key through this method, you’ll need to wait for the Alpha Test to launch first, and since it’s been delayed, we don’t yet know when that will be.

What we do know is that the Delta Force: Hawk Ops Alpha Test will give you a taste of the multiplayer modes, maps, and weapons, so make sure your rig is in line with the PC requirements.
