Dragon’s Dogma 2 is finally set to release on March 22, as the cult-classic RPG franchise by Capcom is set to receive its brand-new entry. If you’ve pre-ordered the game, you will be able to preload it on the platform you’ve placed the order on.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 preload: date & time

The Dragon’s Dogma preload starts at midnight local time on March 20, 2024. This follows Capcom’s plans on previous titles like Resident Evil 4 Remake and Exoprimal.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 has no early access period, even if you’ve pre-ordered the game. While you won’t be able to play the game early, you will be able to download it beforehand.

The Xbox Series X|S preload of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is now live, and it confirms that the game’s file size is 69.94 GB.

Unless there are notable differences between versions, which weren’t announced, the PC and PlayStation versions should have a similar file size.

How to preload Dragon’s Dogma 2 on PC, Xbox & PlayStation

Although Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available on multiple platforms, the preload process for them is more or less the same. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Navigate to the game library on the device that you’ve purchased it on.
2. Select Dragon’s Dogma 2 in your library and on the subsequent page that opens, select the option to download the game.
3. If you’re on a PC, you will have to choose the directory where you want to install the game. You won’t receive this option if you’re on consoles.
4. Once the download is complete, you will have to wait till it releases globally to play it.
