You can obtain important items like Cheese, Sausage, and Jam by processing ingredients in Genshin Impact. If you want to be a great cook like Xiangling, check out this guide on how to process ingredients in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact players can cook dishes that can revive their characters, boost their stamina, grant health, and increase stats such as Crit Rate, Crit DMG, DEF, and ATK. Clearly, cooking can be quite useful before fighting weekly bosses and other ferocious enemies.

Having said that, becoming a great chef in Genshin Impact is not a piece of cake. It requires you to collect and process a wide range of ingredients like Cheese, Butter, Sugar, Flour, and Ham, among others.

On that note, here’s everything you need to know about processing ingredients in Genshin Impact.

Where to find ingredients in Genshin Impact

You can find ingredients throughout Genshin Impact’s open world, in regions like Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Enkanomiya, and The Chasm. Sumeru will soon be added to the action role-playing game, but until then, you can wander in these regions and look for items with a shiny interactive texture.

Usually, players collect a ton of ingredients without even noticing. When exploring the beautiful map, make sure that you collect all sorts of fruits and flowers such as Mushrooms and Snapdragons, respectively.

Moreover, there are some NPCs in every region that can provide you with the ingredients for Mora.

How to process ingredients in Genshin Impact

You can process ingredients in Genshin Impact in any place where you can cook. The basic necessity for cooking is obviously fire and you can find unlit campfires around the map at several locations.

Usually, Hilichurl camps or Treasure Hoarder camps have unlit fires. You can use a Pyro character to light them up and interact with them to open the cooking menu.

Moreover, the urban areas of Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma have restaurants that always have a place to cook. In the image below, you can see Chef Mao’s restaurant in Liyue harbor. Go near the fire and interact with it by clicking on the ‘Cook’ icon.
