How to skip time in Dragon’s Dogma 2
CapcomLike other games of this ilk, Dragon’s Dogma 2’s day/night cycle is something you need to pay attention to for a number of reasons. Thankfully, there are ways in which you can manipulate time to your favor. Below, we reveal all on how to skip time in DD2.
Time in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is hugely important as it influences enemy spawns, NPC locations, Pawns, and can even impact certain quests. Therefore, knowing how to manipulate it is key.
What’s great is that there are different methods for skipping time, and here is all you need to know about each, allowing you to choose the perfect one.
How to change time in Dragon’s Dogma 2
There are three ways to change time in Dragon’s Dogma 2 – resting at a camp/inn, passing time on benches, or taking a journey on an Oxcart. Any of these will allow you to wake up at different times, perfect for whatever you have planned in your playthrough.
In our opinion, the best option for skipping time in the game is using the camp/inn resting method. This is because you’re able to pick whether you want to wake up in the morning or nightfall, making it optimal if you want a specific time.
Passing time on benches is also a good option as these are scattered throughout main areas, requiring a little less exploring to find them.
As for Oxcarts, these give you the choice of whether you want to sleep or not, obviously passing time if you do. It will make the journey instant instead of allowing you to take in the pretty vistas.
No matter which option you choose for time though will get skip time regardless, enabling you to access whatever aspect of the game you’re after. Whether that be targeting a certain enemy or progressing a specific quest step, you should be good to go.
