How to unlock all Ultimate characters in The First Descendant

Some characters in The First Descendant who have Ultimate versions. These versions are much stronger than their normal counterparts, but they can be tough to obtain, especially if you’re going through the research route. 

There are currently five Ultimate versions of Descendants, with more coming in future updates. Here is how you can unlock each of them. 

Materials to craft Ultimate Descendants

Each Ultimate Descendant in The First Descendant needs Enhanced Cells, Stabilizer, Spiral Catalyst, a Code, and Gold to unlock, but each of them require different materials depending on the Descendant you want to research:

How to research Ultimate Descendants

You can research and unlock Ultimate Descendants by visiting Magister Anais in Albion and bringing the required materials you need for each component.

When you speak with her, you can select ‘Descendants’ on the left side menu and choose the Ultimate Descendant you want to research. Each component will take Gold and time to research, so be sure when you choose the one you want.

It’s important to note that even if you complete the different activities that drop Blueprints, for example, the chance of them dropping is still low and you may need to run them again to get the part you need.
