How to watch BlizzCon 2021 30th anniversary digital event: Overwatch 2 details
BlizzCon 2021 will be the celebration of 30 years for one of the world’s most recognizable video game companies. The 2-day event is a digital-only experience, and new details are expected on Overwatch 2 & more. We have details on how you can watch it.
It’s hard to truly measure the impact that Blizzard Entertainment’s games have had on the industry and society in general. They have created some of gaming’s most popular franchises of all time in Diablo, Starcraft, Overwatch, and the Warcraft universe.
Their 30th-anniversary celebration will sadly take place behind closed doors, and the two-day spectacular – referred to as BlizzConline – is expected to celebrate all things Blizzard. One of the most anticipated aspects of the event is hopefully the reveal of more Overwatch 2 details.
New Overwatch 2 expected to be announced
Even Blizzard couldn’t have expected the universally positive reception that Overwatch was going to receive. The game is heading into its sixth year, and the legacy it’s already accumulated is remarkable.
Blizzard has already confirmed that Overwatch 2 is not releasing in 2021, but the event is expected to release some new information on the game. We already know it’s expected to feature some new PvE content, and hopefully, they will expand upon this by letting us know how the game is progressing.
