Unfortunately, Dead Island 2 will not be available on Steam at launch, as the game is actually an Epic Games exclusive, and so those who’d like to enjoy the game on their PC will actually need to purchase and download it from the Epic Games Store.
Dead Island 2 will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, but for those looking to play on their PC, you’ll need to download the Epic Games Launcher. Follow these simple steps to download the Epic Games Launcher and Dead Island 2:
- Visit the Epic Games Store.
- Click ‘Download’ on the top right.
- Complete the installation for the Epic Games Launcher.
- Open the Epic Games Launcher.
- Search for ‘Dead Island 2’ and purchase the game.
- Wait for the launch to download and play the game on your PC!
The Epic Games Store is the only place Dead Island 2 will be available to download and play at launch, but that doesn’t mean it won’t become available to a platform like Steam in the future.
