Is EA Sports WRC always online?
EA SportsSome previous racing games from Codemasters, like DiRT Rally 2.0, required an online connection for certain modes, but does EA Sports WRC have similar requirements? Here’s all you need to know about the online requirements for EA Sports WRC.
Most racers have either full online requirements like The Crew Motorfest or partial requirements similar to Forza Motorsport, which restricts any form of progression unless you’re online.
EA Sports WRC itself has many progression-based modes, like the career mode. It also has a separate multiplayer mode, which will require an online connection, but can you play the rest of the single-player modes offline in EA Sports WRC?
Here are all the details about EA Sports WRC’s online requirements.
Does EA Sports WRC require you to always be online?
We do not have any official confirmation on whether EA Sports WRC is always online. However, it’s unlikely that it’ll require a constant internet connection.
Even if it does have any sort of internet requirement, it’ll be on certain modes and multiplayer. EA Sports WRC‘s PlayStation store description says “Online play optional,” which means you should be able to play EA Sports WRC offline, or some content at least.
For a definitive answer, we have to wait for any official confirmation from Codemasters or wait until the game launches.
