Is Rainbow Six Extraction cross-platform?
Yes, Rainbow Six Extraction features cross-platform play across Xbox consoles, PS4, PS5, Stadia, and PC. No matter what console or system you play on, you’ll be able to party up with your friends.
And it appears that Discord will be coming to PlayStation this year, so it’ll be even easier for PC and PlayStation players to party up together.
Can you turn off cross-play in Rainbow Six Extraction?
Players will be glad to know that you can disable cross-play in Rainbow Six Extraction.
While cross-play appears to be on by default, you have the option to disable it and only matchmake with players on the same platform.
Rainbow Six Extraction doesn’t seem to have a console-only cross-play option though, so you’ll need to either allow everyone or stick to your own platform.
Does Rainbow Six Extraction have cross-progression?
Rainbow Six Extraction features cross-progression, so you can keep all of your progress when switching between platforms.
Ubisoft explained that “If you start your experience by playing on PC but want to switch over to the PS5 don’t worry, you’re covered.” Your Operators, content, and progression will all be there no matter what platform you play on.
They noted that Achievements/Trophies don’t carry over, though. You’ll need to obtain them again if switching from Xbox to PlayStation.
