The Silent Hill 2 remake has officially got its release date at PlayStation‘s State of Play, and fans who have a PS5 can rest easy knowing that they will have the game from release (or earlier, if you preorder the deluxe edition).

No, there are no plans to release the Silent Hill 2 remake on Xbox.
KonamiThis doesn’t mean that its Xbox availability won’t change in the future. The original Silent Hill 2 was initially a PlayStation 2 exclusive but was released on Xbox two months after its initial release.
Given that Sony are also currently open to releasing their games on multiple platforms, we could see the remake coming to other consoles after it spends some time as a PlayStation exclusive.
Will Silent Hill 2 remake be on PC?
Yes, the Silent Hill 2 remake will be on PC and will be available on Steam.
You can preorder Silent Hill 2 now and you’ll be able to play it from its release day October 8, 2024. If you preorder the Deluxe Edition, you’ll be able to play it two days earlier from October 6.
