Little Kitty, Big City is an exploring-focused adventure game that lets you take control of an adorable little cat lost in a city. It’s the debut release from devs Double Dagger Studios, and they have also finally announced a release date.

Little Kitty, Big City release date

Little Kitty, Big City is coming out on May 9, 2024, as announced by their official X account. 

Double Dagger Studios also released a special trailer to mark the announcement, so make sure to give it a watch below.

Little Kitty, Big City will be available to play on Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. 

You can get Little Kitty, Big City on Steam, but it’s also going to be available for anyone who has an Xbox Game Pass. Otherwise, it’ll be available on Xbox Series X and S. 

Little Kitty, Big City gameplay and story

Little Kitty, Big City is an open-world adventure game where you play as a cat trying to get back home. 

The game has a colorful art style that was fully animated by Micah Breitweiser. No motion capture was involved in creating this game – as confirmed by Matt Wood, founder of Double Dagger, in an interview with Nintendo Life. 

Players will be able to explore the world at will and can customize their cat with a variety of hats. There are quests to complete, puzzles to solve, and sunspots to nap in. According to the Steam page, you will also be able to make friends with other animals in the city. 

Little Kitty, Big City will largely be focused on exploration and not necessarily completing goals. You have the main goal of finding your way back home after getting lost, but you don’t have to rush to complete it. Instead, the game places heavy emphasis on exploring all the aspects of the world you can see and interact with.

If you’re looking to play Little Kitty, Big City on PC, you’re going to need at least 4GB of Ram.
