Does Marvel Rivals have crossplay?

Yes, Marvel Rivals allows you to play with users on different platforms, but only in Casual Mode.

For instance, if you’re on a PS5, your server can include players using Xbox Series X|S or PC. This makes it possible to team up with friends even if you’re on different systems.

However, in Competitive Mode, the game is platform-restricted, meaning you’ll only compete with players using the same system as you.

When setting up custom games with friends, cross-platform play is fully supported. Keep in mind, though, that these Quick Matches won’t impact your competitive rankings.

Does Marvel Rivals have cross-progression?

No, Marvel Rivals does not currently support cross-progression, meaning your progress is tied to the platform you play on.

If you decide to download the game on a different system, you’ll need to start fresh with a new account.

However, during an interview with DotEsports, Marvel Rivals creative director Guangyun “Guangguang” Chen revealed that cross-progression is in development.

Chen explained: “Cross-progression involves a lot of platform-specific rules. We’re still exploring how to address these challenges.”

“Once the team has a solution and we’re ready to implement it, players will be the first to know.”
