Marvel Rivals War of The Realms explained
War of The Realms is the first competitive tournament in Marvel Rivals, where factions battle it out to move up a ladder. This starts with the Open qualifiers, where you can play as many matches as you like in the hope of racking up enough points to move through to the knockout rounds.
During the open qualifiers, a win grants three points while a defeat gets you nothing. You must complete at least 10 matches to be eligible to move on to the latter stages of the competition, but only the top 64 best performers will qualify for the knockout phase.
In the knockouts, factions are randomly drawn against each other and battle it out in best-of-three matches, with the loser being eliminated and the winner progressing. Then, the semifinals are decided by a best-of-five game, before the final takes place over seven rounds.
