No Rest for the Wicked is a brand new title from Moon Studios, the developers behind the Ori games. This new title is an action RPG combined with Soulslike mechanics, and will give players the ability to create their own character to explore the world.

So, how do you play No Rest for the Wicked during early access? Here’s everything to know including its release time, content, and more.

No Rest for the Wicked early access release date

No Rest for the Wicked early access is scheduled to go live on April 18, 2024, at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST.

The duration of this early access is currently unclear, but the developers have released a roadmap detailing all the updates they have planned so far.

How to play No Rest for the Wicked early access

To get early access to No Rest for the Wicked, you need to purchase the game on Steam. Here’s how you can buy it when it releases:

  1. Launch Steam from your desktop, or access it via your browser.
  2. If you haven’t logged into your account yet, then do so.
  3. Once you’ve logged into your account, type “No Rest for the Wicked” in the search bar.
  4. You’re likely to come across two options:
    • The first one is the game from Moon Studios. This is the option that you need to select.
    • The second option is a bundle of two games but the bundle has the same name.
  5. Once early access is live at 12 PM ET, you’ll see a “Buy Now” option with the price written beside it.
  6. Click on this option and follow the onscreen instructions to complete your purchase.

Do note that the game isn’t available for purchase before early access begins but you can still wishlist it by visiting their page on Steam.

Once you’ve purchased No Rest for the Wicked on Steam, you can just click on the “Play Now” button and play the early access stage of the game.

  • The first chapter of the storyline campaign.
  • Quests related to the world and the monsters that you will come across.

  • Purchasable housing.
  • Daily and Weekly bounties and quests.
  • Replayable Cerim Crucible dungeon.

Although the developers haven’t revealed a specific date for any of the updates barring the No Rest for the Wicked early access release, they’ve revealed the content they will add in future updates.
