How to unlock Theurgy attacks in Persona 3 Reload
You can unlock Theurgy attacks in Persona 3 Reload as soon as June 13 in the game, the same day you obtain the new SEES outfits exclusive to P3’s remake.
Following the main story events and side activities with SEES will unlock new Theurgy attacks and Personality traits.
You will find the Theurgy attack gauge right next to each character’s face and health in the battle’s UI. The color of the gauge determines how long the full gauge is, and once you charge it, you need to press R2 / RT on the controller to access the Theurgy menu.
Persona 3 Reload: Every Theurgy attack & charging methods
Every Theurgy attack in Persona 3 Reload is charged differently, as it is directly tied to each character’s personality. So, here are each character’s Theurgy attacks and their charging methods:
- Protagonist – Fusion Spells: Skill is based on the Fusion Spell selected. To charge his Theurgy gauge, the MC has to simply use Persona skills.
- Yukari Takeba – Cyclone Arrow: Deals severe Wind damage to 1 foe, ignoring resistances. To charge her Theurgy gauge, Yukari needs to use Healing Skills.
- Tranquility: Yukari’s second Theurgy attack grants a party-wide buff that makes the next magic attack used by any party member deal more than double damage.
- Junpei Iori – Hack n’ Blast: Deals 5 weak hits with high damage variance, followed by a strong, 6th hit, and a 7th one stronger than that. To charge his Theurgy gauge, Junpei needs to land Critical hits.
- Blaze of Life: Junpei’s second Theurgy attack deals massive Fire damage to an enemy while ignoring their resistances. This skill also fully heals Junpei.
- Mitsuru Kirijo – Blizzard Edge: Deals severe Ice damage to 1 foe, ignoring resistances. Can afflict Freeze. To charge her Theurgy gauge, Mitsuru needs to inflict or receive a Debuff Skill.

- Fuuka Yamagishi (Navi) – Oracle: Random positive effect on all allies. Fuuka’s Theurgy attack is charged randomly in battle.
- Revelation: Fuuka’s second Theurgy Attack grants a random enhanced positive effect on all allies.
- Aigis – Orgia Mode: Heavy Pierce dmg to all foes, ignoring resistances. Ignores orders for three turns and uses random attacks. Once done with Orgia Mode, Aigis will remain in a weaker state for two consecutive turns. She can charge her Theurgy gauge by using Physical Skills.
- Maximum Firepower: Aigis’ second Theurgy attack deals severe Piece damage to 1 foe, ignoring resistances.
- Koromaru – Hound of Hades: Deals severe Dark damage to 1 foe, ignoring resistances. Koromaru charges his Theurgy gauge each turn, but faster when his SP is less than half.
- Power Howling: Koromaru’s second Theurgy attack grants a party-wide buff that makes the next physical attack used by any party member deal more than double damage.
- Ken Amada – Divine Retribution: Deals severe Light damage to 1 foe, ignoring resistances. Amada charges his Theurgy gauge each turn, but faster when his SP is less than half.
- Divine Intervention: Amada’s second Theurgy attack revives the party by fully restoring all allies’ HP. This will also grant a party-wide 1-time reflect shield to any type of attack.
- Shinjiro Aragaki – Bleeding Fury: Deals severe Strike damage to 1 foe, ignoring resistances. Aragaki charges his Theurgy gauge each turn, but faster when his SP is less than half.
All hits to the enemy’s weaknesses also charge the Theurgy attack gauge, but once it turns from green to orange, the last attack for a full gauge needs to meet one of the aforementioned criteria.
