Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC: How to beat Elite Four Lacey challenge

Lacey is one of the members of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC Elite Four, and she packs a Fairy-type team. If you want to advance the story, you will need to beat Lacey’s challenge and then beat her in battle, so here’s all you need to know.

The second DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is called The Indigo Disk, and it brings many new challenges for trainers. From new creatures to catch to an entire new Elite Four to beat, the Blueberry Academy will keep players busy.

Every member of the new BB Elite Four will task players with a challenge first, and a battle later. Each of them has a specific team type with high-level Pokemon that will crush you if you go in unprepared.

Here’s how to beat BB Elite Four Lacey in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, as well as combat strategies for her cute Fairy-type team.

How to beat BB Elite Four Lacey challenge in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC

To beat Lacey’s challenge in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, players must answer every question from her Quiz correctly using a Rotom Cursor.

Here are all the questions and answers for Lacey’s Quiz in The Indigo Disk DLC:

• In which part of its body does a Pikachu store electricity? Cheeks.
• Which part of Venonat’s body acts like a radar? Eyes.
• Which Sinistea is an Antique Form Sinistea? The middle Sinistea.
• Which Minior is the pink one you saw first? The Minior on the far right part of the screen.
• Which part of Granbull does Lacey use as a pillow? Tummy.

These are not regular questions, as they will require using a Rotom cursor to select each of the answers. In the Pikachu question, for example, players need to select its Cheeks with the magnifier cursor for it to count as a right answer.

For Venonat, select its eyes with the cursor, or in the case of Siniestea select the middle Sinistea which has the Authenticity Stamp below it. It’s a simple Q&A with an extra twist that brings some fresh air to the BB Elite Four challenges.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC: How to defeat Lacey

To defeat the Fairy-type user Lacey in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, you will need to take advantage of her Fairy-type Pokemon weaknesses.

Lacey will use the following Pokemon in battle:

• Granbull lvl 78
• Whimsicott  lvl 78
• Primarina lvl 79
• Galarian Slowbro lvl 79
• Alcremie lvl 79
• Excadrill lvl 80 – Fairy Tera Type

The best strategy to win Lacey’s battle is by using Poison-type or Steel-type Pokemon. Her Excadrill with Ground and Steel-types will cause some problems, but that’s nothing a high Sp-Atk Revaroom can’t counter with its double Poison and Steel-type.

Any other Pokemon on her team can be easily handled by Poison-type Pokemon like Glimmora, Toxtricity, or Iron Moth.
