Skull and Bones: How to get Sovereigns
UbisoftSovereigns is one of the late-game currencies in Skull and Bones, and you earn it only by doing some specific things. So, here’s how to get Sovereigns in Ubisoft’s online pirate adventure.
Skull and Bones has plenty of content to check out—from treasure hunting to the many PvP and PvE activities, and it’ll continue to add more post-launch. However, some of the meatiest parts of the game only begin when you hit the endgame and climb through the Infamy Ranks.
Since it’s a live-service title, similar to The Division, the endgame is very much the focus of Skull and Bones. And among many things, you’ll find yourself fetching Sovereigns.
All that said, here’s how you can collect Sovereigns in Skull and Bones.
What are Sovereigns in Skull and Bones?
Sovereigns in Skull and Bones are rewarded after you rank up in Leaderboards. They are rare endgame currencies, and you can earn them only after you reach the max Infamy Rank, Kingpin.
Once you reach Kingpin rank, and have to complete a contract called A Nose For Business in Skull and Bones, you’ll unlock the Leaderboard. Whenever you climb up the Leaderboard, weekly or seasonal, you’ll be awarded a certain amount of Sovereigns.
As for how you climb the Leaderboards, you can do it by collecting Pieces of Eight. So, in short, you get Sovereigns by ranking up in weekly and seasonal leaderboards and climb leaderboards by earning Pieces of Eight.
Pieces of Eight, meanwhile, are earned upon completing contracts given at The Helm. Sovereigns are mostly used to buy cosmetic items for you and your ship.
