Best Lightning Rod uses

The Lightning Rod in Stardew Valley is primarily used to save your farm’s trees and crops from lightning storms. It not only absorbs lightning strikes but also generates Battery Packs after getting hit by one.

You can place multiple Lightning Rods around your farm to ensure its safety as rods struck by lightning enter their Processing stage for a day and then drop a Battery Pack. During this time, they won’t absorb any more lightning strikes.

Alternatively, you can place Lightning Rods in the grass to stop animals from eating it. This way, the grass production will increase without hassle.
