There are plenty of iconic characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but players are speculating that more familiar faces could arrive with post-launch content after spotting Easter eggs scattered around the map.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is finally here as players who pre-ordered the game hop into early access. Rocksteady’s latest entry in the Arkham universe focuses on Task Force X, as they try to do as the name suggests to take down Brainiac.

As you’d expect, there’s no shortage of iconic characters that appear in the game, from Harley Quinn to The Flash. The devs have also revealed that there’s more to come, with the Joker arriving in Season 1.

With plenty of post-launch updates planned for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, players already have a shortlist of the heroes and villains they want to see. Now, a handful of Easter eggs found around Metropolis has many convinced about who the DLC characters could be.

Reddit user ‘Whattheflipdude5’ shared a post of some graffiti they found after completing a mission of Black Manta, the archnemesis of Aquaman. Others noted that similar murals can be seen scattered around the map.

This sparked speculation that Black Manta could be one of the playable characters added to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in future seasons, with many hoping that the devs would double down and include Aquaman as a new addition too.

“I hope they add Black Manta with Aquaman as a boss,” said one player, before another added: “The thing about Aquaman, is that he could easily be a dlc expansion, because of how vast and [extensive] a brainiac corrupted Atlantis invasion would be.”

Others added that a Black Manta vs Aquaman showdown would be the perfect way to cap off a water-based season, with some even wishing that the game had “been out earlier in time for Aquaman 2” so the characters could be included at launch.

It’s worth noting that this is all just speculation for now, as the Black Manta Easter eggs don’t necessarily mean that either he or Aquaman will arrive. We’ll have to wait and see if they are in the dev’s plans once they reveal the roadmap for Season 2 and beyond.
