As 2023 draws to a close, games are continuing to roll out to finish the year strong, as players can now get their hands on MW3, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is just on the horizon.
That said, a game by the development studio Fntastic is also creating a lot of hype, as The Day Before is an exciting upcoming survival game that looks to appeal to players who enjoy MMO titles such as The Division.

The Day Before release date & price
The Day Before will be released on December 7, 2023, in early access on Steam for PC.
The game will cost $39 for early access, but the devs have confirmed that this will rise to $49 for the full release. That said, if you purchase the early access version, you will not need to buy the game again for full release. There are no preorders for the game.
What platforms will The Day Before be available on?
The Day Before will only be available for PC in early access, but the devs do plan on releasing a “next-gen console version” once the full game officially launches, so, hopefully, those on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S won’t have to wait too long.

The Day Before is an MMO survival game with a sprawling open world that’s set in the present-day US East Coast. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting after a deadly pandemic, where players will customize their character and set them off in the world to survive amongst other online players and the dangerous infected.
Players will be searching the world for supplies, building materials, and more to help rebuild the community. Bring as much valuable loot back to home base as possible and you’ll be rewarded.
In The Day Before, players will need to keep track of their health, hunger, and thirst levels, while also being wary of the dangerous zombie-like infected enemies that inhabit the world. Weapons are modern and realistic, as players will be fighting off enemies with a variety of guns, as well as escaping and traveling the East Coast with vehicles.
