The First Descendant devs offer free rewards after buggy launch but you need to act fast

The First Descendant’s launch was a little bit shaky, with some players reporting major server issues and their Caliber disappearing. As a result, the devs are offering some free rewards as compensation for these issues. 

You’ll need to act fast, though, as the rewards will only be available to claim until 23:59 PDT/07:59 BST on July 7, 2024. 

You can claim the rewards from your in-game mailbox, which should be shining gold the first time you log in after launch day. The mailbox is just to the left after you exit where you spawn in Albion, and you just need to open the message and claim the rewards to get them.

There are quite a few nice boosts and a couple of cosmetics in there, including: 

• Gold Gain Boost +30%
• Kyper Shard Gain Boost +30%
• Descendant EXP Gain Boost +30%
• Weapon Mastery EXP Gain Boost +30%
• 2 x Matte Red Paints

The EXP boosts will also only last for three days from when you claim them, so make sure you get them during a time you can make the most out of them. 

Players who have gotten rewards from Twitch drops may still be experiencing some issues, though Nexon have claimed that most of them have been resolved. 

Currently, they’re in contact with Twitch to try and fix the remaining bugs where players aren’t receiving the rewards they get from watching. This is according to their latest dev blog post, where they also announced the free rewards you can claim.
